We are now rolling out the selection process for the Training of Trainers Program of Fall 2023, which we announced in June! An opportunity to upskill seasoned coaches in the frameworks, we welcomed an impressive 67 applications from 27 countries.

Now that the application window is closed, the committee is faced with the tough task of selecting 18 participants for the cohort. This intense program will run between September 20th and December 14th, 2023. Taught by Sarah El-Raheb and coached by Anjali Rodrigues, it comprises eight 3-hour sessions and many individual and small group practice sessions. Participants will build their training muscles by creating sessions plans and materials, and facilitating them with live practice through the cohort. Notably, we received a number of applications from folks from various LCN hubs and from graduates of the Public Narrative Coach Training Program. These interconnected programs are helping us create an emerging “ladder of growth” for facilitators and trainers who want to upskill in the five core leadership practices.

The success of last year’s Training of Trainers program which graduated 11 trainers is best demonstrated through a showcase of learnings held in June this year. The recording is available in full for LCN members to watch here

Here are some 1-minute snippets that show you what the trainers shared about…

Though we have expanded the program’s capacity due to intense interest last year, we still have limited seats to maintain deep relational learning. Participants will be selected based on their coaching & training experience, the future potential to scale learning programs, and diversity in constituency and organizational interests.
