When was the last time you worked on your Story of Self?

Crafting a story of self is definitely not a one-time thing. As we learn more about ourselves, our values, and our sources of hope, we find that our public narrative needs to evolve and grow. But this is not an easy thing to do when we’re doing it alone!

Developing a powerful and authentic story of self requires a space where we can get on the bike – a space to learn, practice, and coach each other on our stories.

If you’re looking for such a space, our Skill Practice Session on Story of Self is perfect for you!

Come join us on May 19th to improve your story of self with the support of the LCN community. It will be a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of the craft and get on the bike together with other members!

In order to ensure an in-depth learning experience for everyone, the session will be limited to 24 seats – we’ll close the registrations once the seats are filled, so be sure to sign up early to get a spot!

In this 90 min session, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your understanding of the craft, further develop your story of self, and practice coaching with each other.

This session will be led by Samah Elous, a member of the LCN Europe team and an organizer and trainer based in Sweden. In 2019 she completed the course Leadership, Organizing, and Action via Harvard Kennedy School. In 2020 she was part of the teaching team of the Ahel online course, teaching Community Organizing to leaders with various campaigns from the MENA region. In 2021 Samah was part of the teaching team of the Harvard Kennedy School online course, teaching Community Organizing and Public Narrative to International Leaders. Currently, she is working on the climate board campaign by Vision, which is one of the biggest work unions in Sweden, focusing on reducing CO2 emissions at working places.
