Speakers & presenters
Amna is a Pakistan based educator. She received a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Human Development from the University of Minnesota in 2020. After returning to Pakistan she joined the Center for Social Innovation (CSIDC) and is currently part of the Learning and Participant Experience team.
Amna is determined to support individuals to come together and lead campaigns that oppose systems of oppression and strive for their right to a better life. At CSIDC, Amna works to create transformative learning spaces for changemakers in Pakistan where they can find support, draw inspiration and acquire the practical skills they need to build power with others around them and lead campaigns that win their rights. She has designed and implemented in-person workshops on Organizing and Leadership Development in Pakistan. She led the team which translated the social organizing framework, developed by Professor Marshall Ganz and his colleagues, into Urdu to ensure learning is relevant and accessible.
