Organizing in Health #1: People-Powered Health / Friday, March 26, 10:00-11:30 Eastern Time

With the global pandemic revealing the faultlines and inequities in our societies, it’s clear more than ever that organizing is a key practice in achieving health for all. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Leading Change Network is launching a three-session series dedicated to exploring organizing for health, led by Pedja Stojicic from People Power Health.

Our first session People-Powered Health on March 26th, 10:00-11:30 Eastern Time will feature how grassroots organizing campaigns are building power and developing capacity of communities to achieve equity and health justice.

We will be joined by presenters from these exciting campaigns:

  • Jon Schaffer, Alexandra Greenberg, and Akshita Siddula from Right to Health Action (US)
  • Stephanie Aines from Right Care Alliance (US)
  • Sreejani Malaker from the Health Over Stigma campaign by Haiyya (India)

To claim your spot at the event, click here! (Registration deadline: March 25)

The session is free for LCN Members and people affiliated with the presenting organizations, and 10USD for non-members (scholarships available on request).
