Harvard Divinity School is expanding its innovative Religion and Public Life (RPL) initiative with a new fellowship opportunity. The school seeks an experienced organizer to join their team and contribute to the Certificate in Religion and Public Life (CRPL) program.

The CRPL program offers Harvard Divinity School students pathways outside traditional ministry by equipping them to explore the intersection of religion with fields like education, journalism, government, and more. The Organizing Fellow will play a crucial role in shaping this program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and co-teach a course section specifically focused on organizing
  • Mentor students and support their project development
  • Facilitate internship opportunities related to organizing
  • Collaborate with the RPL faculty and other Fellows

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of demonstrated leadership in organizing
  • Passion for promoting understanding of religion in the public sphere
  • Enthusiasm for working with and mentoring students

This is a part-time, virtual position for the 2024-2025 academic year. While teaching experience and interest in religious studies are preferred, they are not required.
