This is a guide in English for coaches and facilitators of public narrative workshops based on the work of Marshall Ganz.

What is public narrative?

Public narrative is a leadership practice that enables people to act on shared values and join together in collective action. By telling our story of self, story of us, and story of now, we can articulate the origins of why “I” care (who am I), why “we” care (who are we as a community), and why “now” (urgency), and motivate people to join us. This workshop coach / facilitator guide provides a deeper understanding of why we teach public narrative the way we teach and enables you to facilitate the discussions and embody the theory. The guide presents the general flow of the training days and offers general advice and tips on coaching challenges and common questions.
