A set of steps and questions for the coach of a public narrative training.

In order to improve on coaching public narrative, it is helpful for coaches to receive coaching on their coaching. How should one coach someone on how to coach public narrative?

Step 1 – Plusses

What worked?
What did they do well?
What did they do that you’d use yourself as a coach?

Step 2 – Intervention

To the coach:
- What might you do differently next time?
- Where did you feel yourself struggling?
- Where might you grow?
To the group:
- When was their coaching unclear for you as an observer?
- What questions do you have?
- What might you have done differently?

Step 3 – Wrap-up

What are you taking with you for the next time you coach?
One or two things you can state as areas they can work on next.
