In a year defined by both immense challenges and new possibilities, our leadership must be as resilient as the communities we serve. LCN in 2026 offers programs designed to help you master the craft and practice the skills that turn moral urgency into strategic power.
These programs are designed for those ready to move beyond theory and into the disciplined practice of organizing. Whether you are finding your voice for the first time or training to coach others, we invite you to join us in deepening the collective capacity our movements require.

Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 (Additional session in 2026 to be announced soon)
How do we transform the resources we have into the power we need to create the change we want? This dynamic introductory session is your pathwaygateway into the People, Power, Change framework. In this 3-hour session, we explore the five core leadership practices: Public Narrative, relationship building, team structure, strategy, and action. Through a real-world campaign examples and peer discussion, you’ll see how organizing enables communities to reclaim their agency.

June 2026 – Dates to be announced soon
Leadership is a practice of the head, the hands, and the heart. In this practice-based 2- days workshop, we focus on the heart, learning to craft a story that connects others to shared values and move them to act. You will develop the three essential elements of a Public Narrative:
Through hands-on coaching, you will leave with a draft of your own narrative, or a more polished narrative, and the confidence to use storytelling as a primary leadership tool.
More than a workshop, Public Narrative is an experience. You and your team members will see yourselves and each other in deeper ways, and walk away with critical skills for building the future and creating deep relationships.

Organizing is about enabling others to achieve shared purpose under conditions of uncertainty. This intensive workshop moves from “talking about” organizing to “doing” it. In this 2-days workshop you will practice building relationships rooted in commitment, structuring effective leadership teams, and developing strategy grounded in a rigorous power analysis. We encourage participants to bring a real-world campaign or challenge so you can apply these tools to your work in real-time.
This workshop is for you if:
Participants can choose to join the Public Narrative workshop (one weekend), or the entire organizing workshop (two weekends)
August – September 2026
Coaching is the most powerful way to unlock leadership in others. This eight-week immersive program develops your capacity to coach Public Narrative, expanding the capacity of your organization, team, or movement to lead through storytelling. You will dive deep into the pedagogy of coaching, learning how to ask the powerful questions that help others discover their own values and reclaim their voice.
