Happy, Healthy, Productive Organizers (Psychology, Trust & Joy in Organizing Session #3, May 2025)

The Annual Community Meet 2024 brought together community organizers from around the world. Attendees were inspired by speakers who shared their experiences and insights. In this session, we explored a four-step process to address burnout by generating joy in your work, drawing on real-world examples from large-scale organizational efforts, including a transformative initiative in São Paulo, Brazil. Participants explored the process in real time, and reflected on actionable strategies for building a joyful organizing environment and sustaining wellbeing within teams, organizations, and across campaigns.
