Power & Resistance: Stories of Organizing in Palestine (Organizing for Liberation #3)

Power & Resistance: Stories of Organizing in Palestine (Organizing for Liberation #3)

Over the past months, our learning series on organizing for liberation has brought together organizers and activists to learn from the struggle for liberation in Palestine and globally. Our final session in February will spotlight stories of organizing and resistance from Palestine. We will be joined by Palestinian grassroots leaders who will share their experiences and lessons around creating tangible change under compounded systems of oppression, apartheid, and settler colonialism—as well as the evolving realities and challenges of organizing amidst the ongoing genocide.

Together, we’ll reflect on how organizing builds power, what is needed to sustain it, and the lessons offered for global liberation movements. Join us on February 12th, 2025 at 10am Eastern Time / 5pm Palestine Time to explore how communities can shift power on the ground in pursuit of liberation.

The session will be moderated by Palestinian organizer and activist Zaid Shuaibi.

*The session will feature presentations in Arabic, with simultaneous English interpretation

*We are also planning an optional 30 mins discussion after the session closes for participants to explore actions they can take both collectively and individually to support the struggle for Palestinian liberation.
