Skill Practice Session Story of Self

Skill Practice Session Story of Self

Are you looking to grow your storytelling skills?

Then our Skill Practice Session on Story of Self is the perfect space for you!

Crafting a story of self is not a one-time thing. As we learn more about ourselves, our values and sources of hope, we find that our public narrative needs to evolve and develop in ways that better represent our journey and growth.

But it can be challenging to do this alone! The most authentic and powerful Stories of Self are nurtured in supportive spaces where we can get on the bike together; spaces to learn, practice, and get coached on our stories.

Join us on May 9th at 12pm ET / 6pm CET to hone your storytelling and coaching skills for Story of Self!

This session is exclusive for LCN members who are looking for opportunities to grow their narrative skills, connect with others in the community, and be part of a transformative learning experience. If you are not yet an LCN member, we invite you to join our community here.

Questions & answers

Crafting a story of self is a transformative experience – a process of discovering and articulating the values and experiences that define who we are and call on us to take leadership. It’s also a continuous journey. As we learn more about ourselves, our values and sources of hope, we find that our public narrative needs to evolve in ways that better represent ourselves and our growth. But embarking on this journey alone can be daunting. The most authentic and impactful stories of self are nurtured in supportive spaces where we can get on the bike together to practice and coach one another – in other words, a Skill Practice Session!

During the 90 min session, you will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the key elements of this craft, further develop your personal narrative, and practice sharing your story of self as well as coaching each other on our stories in small groups.

This session is exclusive for LCN members who are looking for opportunities to grow their narrative skills, connect with others in the community, and be part of a transformative learning experience. In order to ensure an in-depth learning experience for everyone, the session will be limited to 24 seats – we’ll close the registrations once the seats are filled, so be sure to sign up early to get a spot.

This session will be led by LCN member Shingai Mushayabasa from the UK
