New LCN Website Launch

New LCN Website Launch

Join us on January 27th & 28th to celebrate the launch of our new home online — a LCN website that reflects who we are, the power of our global community, and our critical organizing work towards a more just and equitable future. After months of thoughtful building and collaboration, we’re excited to share our new website with a fresh design, better navigation and user-friendly interfaces, and a space where our community can learn, connect, and take action.

During the launch event, we’ll walk you through exciting new features, including the revamped Resource Center filled with curated guides, tools, and stories from organizers around the world, as well as the new Member Dashboard and Directory where you can share your profile and discover other organizers and leaders in the network. We’ll explore these updates together, and share what’s coming in 2026 for you and your community.

To make sure everyone can join, we’ll be hosting the event in two different time zones across two days. Wherever you are in the world, we invite you to be part of this moment with us.

Register today, mark your calendar, and come explore our new digital home for the global LCN community!

Impressions on our website glow up…

Phil Kohlmetz, Fundraising Counsel & Organizer, US

The new website is like the bike metaphor we love so much. Are you new to this work, with a passion to work for change but not sure how to get started? LCN has a bike with training wheels for you, and lots of coaches, trainers, programs, and support to help you hop on and start pedaling! Are you an experienced cyclist, traveling off-road in real-time with challenges around every turn? The new website gives you access to the latest gear and innovations, expert trainers, and frameworks that propel you, your team, and your campaigns across rough terrain.

I appreciate the depth of resources now available to LCN members. It’s easy to access progressive programs to take our organizing skills to new levels; tactical resources such as slides, illustrations, and graphics that support training decks I build; and the directory of other coaches and trainers to provide support for our participants and trainees.

The new website provides access and context for it all. It makes this global network locally accessible.

The new website is much more modern, engaging and really portrays the energy of the LCN Network.

I’m almost certain I’m repeating what has already been said by others when I say that the new website is quite interactive and engaging. While exploring this “home base for building power”, I discovered the Resource Centre which truly looks like an archive of such interesting and important tools for us as organisers and storytellers. Definitely a place where I will come back to draw inspiration from, read and research, learn about fellow organisers’ journeys and work.

As a municipal politician and social change activist, I find the Leading Change Network website to be an invaluable resource. The materials available to members are genuinely useful. I have drawn on written, audio, and visual tools, including practical guides and clear “how-to” recordings that support real organizing work, not just theory.

I am especially encouraged to see LCN walking the talk by adding Mastodon and stepping into the Fediverse, the people’s social media. Choosing decentralized, community-governed platforms over oligarch-controlled social networks matters. It aligns with democratic values in practice, not just in words.

Digital security is also becoming increasingly important, particularly for organizers working in different political contexts around the world who may be pushing up against powerful institutions or hostile authorities. Organizing today requires not only courage and strategy, but also an awareness of safety, surveillance, and platform risk. Moving toward decentralized tools and more secure digital practices is not optional. It is part of organizing responsibly and protecting people who are already taking real risks.

What keeps me returning to the website is the combination of ongoing workshops and events alongside the Resource Centre. Together, they make membership feel active and relevant and often leave me thinking that I need to tell more people about this. The international character of LCN is another real strength. It builds resilience and shared learning, especially when organizing work at home becomes difficult or isolating.

The new website also does a better job of showing who is involved within LCN. I value that transparency. There is no shadowy group operating behind the scenes. Instead, real people are clearly named, visibly doing the work, and openly supporting others.

It is still early days, and a few small issues may still be getting worked out. I am looking forward to the full launch of the Mastodon button so I can more easily share that LCN is active in the Fediverse. I also noticed that the Coach and Trainers button does not lead anywhere when I am not logged in, so it is unclear whether that area is intended for members only. A clear home page button would also make navigation easier after exploring deeper sections of the site.

Overall, this is a strong, transparent, and genuinely useful platform, and one I am happy to recommend.
