LCN Hubs Showcase: From Learning to Action in Serbia and Latin America

The LCN hubs program supports the formation and development of regional and thematic groups working to bring the community organizing framework to a broader audience.

Join us on March 11th to learn about the inspiring journey and work of our hubs community with examples from Serbia and Latin America.

We will be joined by organizers leading hubs who will share how they’ve used popular education practices to help their members deepen organizing skills while taking action on the ground. We’ll also highlight the curriculum and tools we’ve created to enable replication and scaling.

  • Learn how groups from Serbia and Latin America are bringing the organizing framework to their community
  • Explore lessons in adapting the organizing framework and practices to the cultural context and learning needs of different communities, such as women in Mexico & Chile and youths in Serbia
  • Learn about the curriculum and tools developed for groups to replicate and scale learning organizing in their communities
  • Reflect on the interlink between theory and practice as well as structure and pedagogy that are key to moving people from learning to action

This event is for anyone who is interested in bringing learning organizing to their communities in an accessible, replicable, and scalable way.
The event will be a 90-minute interactive session. There will be a mix of presentations from the speakers, Q&A, and breakout activities where you will join a breakout room to share your experiences and discuss ideas with other participants.
