Throughout history, governments and authorities have used crisis moments to consolidate power, and COVID-19 is no different.

How do we turn this threat into an opportunity to deepen our organizing and strengthen democratic institutions?

Come and join us on Thursday 14 May 9:00-10:30am EDT for our fourth webinar to explore how we can organize under authoritarian threat in the time of COVID-19 at 9:00-10:30am EDT on Thursday 14th May.

We’ll be joined by a panel of speakers (tbc) from a spectrum of regions and contexts, and together in an interactive session we’ll explore:

  • What signs of authoritarianism are we seeing in this moment?
  • What opportunities do we see for responding to this moment?
  • What are sources and stories of hope as we respond?

Register here!

This is a session not only to explore organizing in countries already under authoritarian regimes, but also countries that are seeing authoritarian tendencies from their governments.

None of us have all the answers alone, but we’ve designed these sessions to be a highly interactive space that allows us to be curious and vulnerable together as we figure out how to respond effectively to this moment.

Open and free to all, so come join us and spread the word through your networks!
