Hahrie Han

Hahrie Han is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Wellesley
College, where she does research, teaching, and training on political
organizing, movement-building, and leadership development. She is the
author of Moved to Action: Motivation, Participation, and Inequality in American Politics, and a forthcoming book called, Engaging People for Social Change: Civic Associations and Activism in the 21st Century. She has also published award-winning research on political activism and
community organizing, writing about the ways people come together to
transform their communities for the better. She is the daughter of Korean immigrants, grew up in Texas, and now
lives in Arlington, MA with her husband and two living children.
